Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team for an immediate start.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design, ensuring high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires excellent attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements.
Repair and maintain surfaces by filling holes, cracks, or imperfections prior to painting.
Must be able to carried out ladder work.
Wallpapering (would be an advantage)
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timelines.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates on progress.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Drive to various job sites as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in painting and decorating is preferred.
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between job sites.
Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is beneficial.
