Full job description

We are a family run dairy farm in Perthshire milking 200 cows twice daily and are looking for a reliable and hardworking dairy person to join our team.

The role involves a variety of duties including

milking - operating a 25 aside herringbone parlour
maintaining high standards of hygiene and milk quality control
monitoring herd health
assisting with calving and calf rearing
general maintenance

The successful candidate

would ideally have previous experience on a commercial dairy farm
be patient with good stock handling skills
be reliable and punctual- should be willing to work flexible hours including weekends
be able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team

This is a full time position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
