Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative / Cable Harness Technician to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Assembling cable harnesses using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Testing completed harnesses to ensure electrical continuity and functionality
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assisting with troubleshooting electrical issues during assembly or testing phases
- Adhering to production schedules while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience with electrical assembly or cable harness production is preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment
- Experience working with assembly processes in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with small components and detailed tasks
- Good organisational skills with a focus on quality assurance and safety compliance
