Summary:

The Housing Services Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality housing services in Luton, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the living standards of our residents while managing a dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing strategies to improve service delivery and resident satisfaction, contributing to the overall mission of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead the housing services team, ensuring effective service delivery and staff development.
Develop and implement housing policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
Monitor and evaluate housing services performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Engage with residents to gather feedback and enhance service provision.
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including local authorities and community organisations.
Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe living environment.

Qualifications:

A degree in Housing Management, Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a managerial role within the housing or property sector.
Strong understanding of housing legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using housing management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
