About the role

We are a well-established shopfitting business based in Swadlincote, delivering high-quality commercial interior projects across the UK. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and organised Operations Support Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in keeping our projects running smoothly from start to finish.

This is an office-based role working at the heart of our operations, supporting project managers and site teams by coordinating subcontractors and external contractors, managing documentation, and providing excellent customer-facing communication.

Key responsibilities

Coordinating and scheduling subcontractors and external contractors across live projects, ensuring timely attendance and delivery
Acting as a first point of contact for clients, suppliers, and site teams — handling queries promptly and professionally
Maintaining accurate records, project files, and operational documentation using internal systems
Supporting the wider operations team with administrative tasks, purchase orders, and logistics coordination
Monitoring project progress and flagging any programme issues to the relevant project manager
Assisting with the onboarding and compliance documentation for new contractors and suppliers

What we’re looking for

Strong IT skills — confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to pick up bespoke software quickly
Excellent communication and customer service skills — professional, clear, and responsive at all times
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with subcontractors or external contractors, ideally in a construction, shopfitting, or facilities management environment
A proactive, can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work well as part of a small team

What we offer

£25,000 – £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
21 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Office-based role in Swadlincote, Derbyshire

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
