Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in dental nursing while supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. The role is paid and suitable for individuals interested in pursuing a career in dental healthcare. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced dental professionals, assisting with patient treatments and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, ensuring clear communication
Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Greet patients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable throughout their visit
Support the team with stock management and ordering supplies as needed

Experience

No prior experience is required; full training will be provided to develop essential skills
Strong interest in patient care, dentistry, or healthcare is desirable
Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with patients and team members
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and practice administration
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and colleagues
