Workshop Manager
TTS Vehicle Services – Hoddesdon (Pindar Road)

Salary: £50,000 OTE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About Us

TTS Vehicle Services is a fast-paced and growing automotive business based in Hoddesdon. We specialise in vehicle preparation, repairs, and quality control for a high-volume operation. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly organised and experienced Workshop Manager to lead our team and keep operations running efficiently.

The Role

As Workshop Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop. You’ll ensure all vehicles are prepared to a high standard, deadlines are met, and the team operates efficiently in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily workshop operations and workflow
Manage and coordinate technicians and fitters
Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard and within deadlines
Implement and maintain quality control processes
Schedule work effectively to maximise productivity
Liaise with internal departments regarding vehicle progress
Monitor performance, efficiency, and turnaround times
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Requirements

Must have both hands-on workshop experience AND supervisory/management experience
Proven experience as a Workshop Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Workshop Controller
Strong mechanical knowledge (hands-on background essential)
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple jobs at once
Experience working in a fast-paced motor trade environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Full UK Driving Licence (required)
