Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event & Sales Manager to lead our event planning and sales initiatives. This role involves overseeing the organisation of various events, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with a background in hospitality or related sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to our organisation’s success while developing their career within a vibrant and fast-paced environment.

Duties

Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly from inception to completion
Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue, including upselling additional services or packages
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, and vendors to foster repeat business
Manage bookings, schedules, and logistics efficiently using organisational tools
Lead the sales team in achieving targets through effective training and motivation
Monitor guest services standards to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote upcoming events and special offers
Analyse sales data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all event activities

Experience

Proven experience in event management, sales, or hospitality sectors such as restaurants, hotels, or fundraising organisations
Demonstrable skills in upselling, guest services, and hospitality management
Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members
Experience in using sales or booking software is advantageous
Knowledge of the local event landscape and customer preferences is desirable
