Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Kitchen Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry and fitting services, specialising in kitchen installations, joinery, and general construction work. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced tradespeople to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment, contributing to both residential and commercial projects. The position is paid and requires a proactive approach to ensure customer satisfaction and safety standards are maintained throughout all tasks.
Duties
- Fabricate, assemble, and install bespoke kitchens, cabinetry, and other wooden fixtures according to project specifications
- Fit kitchens and related units securely, ensuring alignment and finish meet quality standards
- Assist with plumbing, or masonry tasks when necessary to support integrated project completion
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout each project phase
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely project delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, and kitchen fitting with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, as well as power tools including drills and sander.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation tasks
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for precise measurements and finishes
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or construction trades are preferred but not essential

Pay: £27,743.61-£48,453.03 per year
