Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable, though full training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating tidy, hygienic spaces.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored appropriately after use
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
