Full job description

We are looking for a Front office manager to manage our reception area. You will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure visitors receive a warm welcome. You will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests services.

Responsibilities

Manage the day to day operations of reception/reservations
Train, supervise and support the front office team
Schedule shifts and check weekly hours worked against forecasting and scheduling
Ensure timely and accurate customer service
Handle complaints and specific customers requests
Troubleshoot emergencies efficiently
Monitor stock and order office supplies
Ensure proper mail distribution
Produce operational reports and communicate key information for Senior Management
Work closely with Hotel Senior Management & Guest Experience Manager on revenue, rates and sales forecasts
Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met

Salary - DOE

Previous experience

Minimum 3 years in a previous front office manager role or similar

Excellent organisational and problem solving skills

Experience using PMS, Reservations & Third Party Booking Systems
