Job Summary
I am seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join my small business. The relevant candidate must have NVQ Level 3 in Massage Therapy or an equivalent qualification.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage treatments to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellbeing. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your expertise in anatomy and massage techniques within a welcoming environment committed to health and relaxation. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about helping others achieve physical and mental harmony.

Duties

Perform customised massage therapies tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy massages.
Conduct client consultations to assess their health history, preferences, and specific concerns.
Maintain a clean, hygienic treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Ensure client comfort throughout the session by adjusting techniques as required.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
Promote wellness programmes and recommend appropriate self-care practices to clients.
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and practice productivity.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role within a professional setting.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential.
Certification from a recognised massage therapy programme or equivalent qualification is required. Must have NVQ level 3 diploma or equivalent in Massage therapy.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism.
A compassionate approach combined with organisational skills to manage appointments effectively. This role offers an enriching opportunity for qualified therapists eager to make a positive impact on clients’ health and wellbeing through expert massage therapy practices.
