Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

We are looking for a diligent Pastry Chef De Partie to produce pastry and bakery items for all of the restaurants food concepts at Estelle Manor.

The on target earning potential for this role is £37,685.43 per annum based on a 45 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £30,685.43 plus a qualified estimate of £7,000 in gratuities and service charge*. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

As a Chef de Partie within our Pastry team, you will produce high quality pastry and bakery items for all of the restaurants food concepts at Estelle Manor.
You will assist and engage with the kitchens senior leadership in managing all food health safety related standards, ensuring the guests and members experience is always exceptional and memorable.
Working in the pastry kitchen preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following our recipes.
Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be modern, beautiful, exciting and appetising.
Being responsible for effective stock control within the Pastry section and to control and record all wastage.
Having good communication skills and proficiently liaising with all departments on an ongoing basis; close relationships with front of house operational teams.

Experience working in a kitchen department in a luxury / lifestyle multi-outlet food and beverage operation.
Someone who stays up to date with current food trends and best practices.
Previous proven experience creating pastry and bakery items.
Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail
A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
