General Operative Job Advert

Devon Bedstead Company is a family-owned business that is on an exciting journey of growth. We manufacture and produce luxury, handcrafted beds to retailers across the UK. We are looking to grow our dedicated team and need a General Operator to join our woodworking/assembly and mattress making team.

Skills required:

Excellent attention to detail
Safety-awareness
Be dependable and professional.
Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision.
Patience and perseverance
Excellent timekeeping
Willingness to learn different areas of woodworking/assembly production.

Benefits:

On-site parking

Schedule:

9.5 hour day shifts (Monday to Thursday 6.30am - 4.30pm)
6-hour morning shift (Fridays 6.30am-12.30pm)

Ability to commute/relocate:

Riverside Road, Pottington Industrial Estate, Barnstaple, EX31 1QN: reliably commute to work.

Experience:

No experience necessary, on the job training provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
