Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team, specialising in landscape maintenance, construction, and general groundskeeping. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical knowledge of horticulture and gardening, and experience with various tools and machinery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment focused on high standards of maintenance and construction projects. The position is paid, including internship opportunities, and is suitable for individuals eager to contribute to outdoor projects and site upkeep.

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
Support construction activities by preparing sites, mixing materials, and assisting with the installation of features such as fencing or pathways.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with gardening duties including soil preparation, planting new flora, and maintaining existing landscapes.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times during site operations.
Support team members with various labouring tasks as required across multiple projects.

Skills

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other gardening equipment.
Strong understanding of horticulture principles and garden care practices.
Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques.
Basic knowledge of construction processes is desirable but not essential. This role provides an engaging environment for those passionate about outdoor work, construction, and horticulture, offering opportunities for skill development within a supportive team setting.
