Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Early Morning Commercial Kitchen Cleaner to join our team. The hours will be 7.30-11.30 Monday to Friday (20 hours). This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of busy commercial kitchens, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will be organised, efficient, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough deep cleaning of commercial kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, appliances, and heavy duty equipment before the start of daily operations
Ensure all kitchen utensils, cookware, and tools are hygienically cleaned and stored appropriately
Disinfect workspaces in compliance with health and safety regulations
Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or damages to management
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
Requirements
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, hospitality or a fast-paced food service environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work early mornings and start shifts promptly
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, bending and repeptitive manual tasks
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
A proactive attitude with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
