Are you looking for flexible work in a professional healthcare environment where you can make a real difference? We are seeking a motivated and reliable Flexi-Bank Housekeeping Assistant to join our Support Services team in a private hospital setting.

About us

The Benenden Flexi Bank offers you total flexibility to choose shifts that are offered to you. It is ideal for people who have other commitments in their lives but are still able to work a reasonable number of hours each month. Alternatively, you may be looking to boost your income, without being tied to set hours each week. Your hours are not guaranteed and fluctuate with the needs of the hospital.

About the role

As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a flexible bank role, offering shifts to suit service needs.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake a range of routine housekeeping duties, using initiative where appropriate
Work flexibly across Support Services areas as required
Maintain excellent communication with colleagues, patients, and visitors
Adhere to all governance standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and infection control at all times
Deliver exceptional service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience

Experienced in a similar role, ideally within a healthcare environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the organisation
Positive, proactive, and patient-focused in their approach
Diplomatic and tactful with strong interpersonal skills
Confident communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds
Well-organised with strong prioritisation skills
