Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Tradesman/woman to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across multiple trades. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad skill set in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects. The ideal applicant will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry tasks including framing, door and window installation, and repairs
Conduct roofing work such as patching, shingling, and waterproofing
Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces and finish projects to high standards
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes
Handle electrical installations and maintenance in accordance with safety regulations
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely across various trades
Fabricate custom components or structures as required for specific projects
Assist in the planning and organisation of work schedules to meet deadlines

Requirements

Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance tasks
Knowledge of fabrication techniques and materials
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving skills with an adaptable approach to different tasks
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials safely
Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades are desirable but not essential depending on experience
A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: Up to £1,191.18 per week

Plastering: 10 years (preferred)
Carpentry: 10 years (preferred)
Electrical: 5 years (preferred)
Plumbing: 5 years (preferred)
Contruction painting: 10 years (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
