Content Creator
As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging visual and written content that showcases the company’s projects, people, and brand across digital platforms. This is a hands-on, creative role focused on capturing, creating, editing, and publishing content that supports brand awareness and engagement.
You will work closely with site teams and the marketing function, taking ownership of day-to-day content creation while contributing ideas that bring the company’s work to life.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Visual Storytelling
- Regularly visit construction sites to capture high-quality photos and videos using a DSLR and drone.
- Liaise with site managers to arrange site access for photography and videography.
- Upload, organise, and catalogue photo and video assets.
- Edit footage and imagery to produce engaging content for digital platforms.
- Research company projects to inform content and storytelling.
- Create written content including case studies, website updates, and social media posts.
Social Media & Digital Content
- Produce platform-ready content for social channels, aligned with brand tone of voice.
- Schedule and manage social media posts using Hootsuite.
- Adapt content for different formats and audiences while ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Monitor engagement and support the wider marketing team with content performance insights.
- Support the creation of company literature.
Events & On-the-Ground Content
- Support and attend company events, including expos and annual general meetings.
- Capture event photography and videography to support post-event content.
- Represent the company at industry events, contributing to a strong, professional brand presence.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong creative flair with a natural eye for photography, video, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent writing skills and an ability to tell compelling stories through content.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple content pieces at once.
- Confident working independently while collaborating with site teams and colleagues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience flying drones.
- Knowledge or interest in the construction or built environment sector.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
