Overview
We are seeking a dedicated chef to step up to the next level and join us as Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in our busy restaurant. We would want this chef to be confident in working within all aspects of our kitchen area, contribute to the creation of innovative new dishes to the menu and engage professionally with our customers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and safety while supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in daily kitchen management.

Good salary & very good tronc shared equally amongst the staff

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
Supervise and manage when required.
Oversee food production processes to meet health and safety regulations as well as organisational standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety protocols.
Support the development of new menu items in collaboration with the kitchen team and owners.
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control to minimise waste.
Ensure excellent service delivery by collaborating effectively with front-of-house staff during service hours.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills.
In-depth understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating versatility across various roles such as serving and food production.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills to lead a diverse team and liaise with suppliers and management. This role is ideal for a motivated culinary professional eager to advance their career within a vibrant hospitality setting, contributing their expertise to deliver memorable dining experiences while fostering a positive team environment.
