We support people to become qualified professionals through structured training and assessment, including routes such as Associate (AssocRICS) and Chartered (MRICS), where candidates demonstrate their skills, experience and professional judgement through a formal assessment process.

Our teams play an important role in supporting this journey, working with candidates, assessors and panels to deliver a consistent and well-run assessment experience.

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

As an Assessment Administrator, you will support the processes that enable individuals to become qualified RICS professionals.

Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you will focus on the detail behind the scenes—checking submissions, maintaining accurate records and helping ensure assessments run smoothly.

The work is varied and can be fast paced, particularly during peak periods, so organisation and attention to detail are important. You will work closely with colleagues, assessors and candidates, helping to bring together everything needed for assessments to take place.

This role offers the opportunity to build a strong understanding of the qualification process and develop confidence in handling a range of administrative tasks. There is also a clear pathway within the team, with opportunities to progress into coordinator roles over time.

Check candidate applications and supporting documents against assessment requirements

Input and maintain accurate data relating to assessment panels and results

Carry out plagiarism checks using internal systems and follow set processes

Prepare materials and support the coordination of assessment centres

Help organise schedules and panel arrangements

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across systems

Respond to queries from candidates and assessors in a clear and timely way

Support the smooth running of assessments, working to agreed timelines

Assist with queries relating to payments or fees, working with Finance where needed

Identify opportunities to improve processes and share feedback with the team

Attend assessment sessions where required, supporting assessors and candidates

This role operates on a hybrid basis, with staff expected to work approximately 60% of their time in the office and 40% from home.

About You

You are organised and dependable, with a careful approach to your work. You are comfortable working with information and understand the importance of accuracy.

You can manage your time, stay on top of tasks and meet deadlines, even when things are busy. You communicate clearly and are comfortable responding to queries in a helpful and professional way.

Experience in an administrative or support role

Good attention to detail and accuracy when working with data

Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

Ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines

Clear written and verbal communication skills

A collaborative approach and willingness to support others

A positive attitude and openness to learning

It would also be helpful if you have:

Experience using databases or customer relationship management (CRM) systems
