Dear Applicant,

Thank you for taking the time to look at our advert. Medipharma Chemist has been part of the Selly Oak community for more than forty years providing a reliable and dedicated service to the area. Here at Medipharma we believe you can expand and enhance your skills working at the forefront of primary healthcare.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a self-motivated, bright individual that is willing to learn new skills. We do offer training to medicines counter assistants wishing to do the dispensing course and to those wanting a fresh challenge. The applicant must have good customer service skills and the ability to work as a team and independtly. Working hours are flexible.

Job Role

Roles of the job include:

-Responding to customer queries in relation to prescription medicines

- Maintaining stock levels in dispensary

-Answering patient queries about minor ailments

- Assembling and dispensing prescriptions

- Ordering patient's medications

- Liaising with GP surgeries about repeat prescriptions.

- Oppotunities to carry out blood pressure checks and vaccinations. Training to be provided

-Assembling blister packs
