More Mascots Please CIC is a dedicated community interest company committed to enriching the lives of disabled, disadvantaged, and terminally ill children through engaging mascot events and community activities. Our mission is to bring joy and support to children in need by organizing memorable events and fostering a caring environment.

Summary

We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Coordinator to join our team based in Kingswinford. Based in, you will play a vital role in organizing and managing volunteer efforts to support our mascot events and community initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to creating joyful experiences for children and making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for various community events and fundraising.
Develop volunteer schedules and ensure adequate staffing for all activities.
Collaborate with team members to plan engaging events that align with our mission.
Maintain volunteer records and handle communication effectively.
Promote volunteer opportunities through social media and local networks.
Support fundraising activities by engaging volunteers in outreach efforts.
Ensure all volunteer activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork and dedication.
Qualifications
Proven experience in supervising or managing volunteers preferable
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience in project management is advantageous.
Passionate about community service and supporting children's causes.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms for outreach.
Previous experience in event planning or fundraising is a plus.
