Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Community Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the community setting, ensuring safe and effective medication use. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. The role requires a qualified pharmacist with a strong commitment to patient well-being and healthcare excellence.

Duties

Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards
Providing expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to patients
Ensuring Pharmacy First consultations are appropriate and completed
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans
Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions
Educating patients on health and wellness topics, including lifestyle modifications and preventive care
Ensuring the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety regulations at all times
Participating in community health initiatives and outreach programmes as required

Requirements

Fully qualified Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent regulatory body
Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting is desirable
Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining collaborative relationships with healthcare teams
Organised, detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving abilities
A proactive approach to continuous professional development and staying current with pharmaceutical advancements

This role is ideal for a motivated pharmacist eager to make a meaningful difference within the community through expert medication management and patient support.

Pay: From £42,000.00 per year
