Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 OTE depending upon experience with Company Car

You will be ideally placed to identify more areas for us to improve our employee experience and attract, develop and retain exceptional talent.
We require someone who is passionate about delivering excellent HR services by working as part of the Senior Management Team to provide support and advice to the Board of Directors, Managers, and colleagues. The role supports the whole group of around 220 employees, covering 10 sites around the Northwest and travel between our branches forms a fundamental part of the role.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a great opportunity to develop your career further with a breadth of generalist HR projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment as well as coaching the HR Team to continue growth in their skills and knowledge.

Role & Experience:
- Developing and implementing the HR Business Plan in line with commercial requirements, changes in legislation and business improvements with the Board of Directors.
- Experience of end-to-end recruitment and working with managers to improve employee retention rates and reviewing recruitment materials.
- Coaching managers through employee relations matters including complex disciplinary, grievance and long-term sickness. Being confident in providing advice and support during hearings and an excellent working knowledge of relevant employment legislation and legal compliance is a must.
- Familiarity with updating company benefits and working closing with Payroll and Accounts to implement any changes.
- Line management experience would be advantageous to continue the development of the HR Team skills and knowledge.
- Confident in providing and presenting people statistics and analysis for Directors and Managers for salary reviews, staff turnover trends and ad hoc projects.
- Experience of updating policies and processes in line with legislation, best practice, and business changes.
- Experience in providing in house training to managers
- The ability and experience of working autonomously and completing tasks within set deadlines is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of managing challenging discussions with managers and colleagues when necessary whilst maintaining a professional perspective.
- Previous experience of supporting managers through business restructure and TUPE would be beneficial
- CIPD qualified to Level 7 alongside significant experience at a business partnering/managerial level within a busy HR department.
- A driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential to travel between sites.
Motor Trade experience would be advantageous but not essential.
