Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting portable toilets efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our clients. This role requires excellent driving skills, proven ability to tow a trailer, and able to use a mobile device for route planning and recording deliveries. The Driver will play a vital part in supporting our operations through safe transportation and excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at designated locations on a mobile device
Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness.
Occasional work in yard to prepare portable toilets for hire

Experience

Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record.
Experience operating commercial vehicles such as vans or lorries including a tail lift
Ability to tow a toilet trailer and hitch and un hitch on site
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading or unloading tasks. This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring smooth operations through dependable transportation services while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
