SITE SUPERVISOR

Full job description

Due to continued, controlled growth, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor for a small family run groundworks Company.

This is a key role responsible for organising daily site activity, including scheduling workers and co-ordinating with project managers.

This position suits someone who has previously worked on construction sites and is comfortable leading groundworker/labour teams, organising material movements and managing workload.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and organise a team of groundworkers.
Liaise with management.
Ensure Health and Safety standards are followed at all times.
Ensure construction meets quality standards, problem solving, rectifying defects and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Act as a link between workers, project managers and clients.
Assist in preparing work schedules and mentoring workers.
Maintain daily site records (attendance, material useage, daily progress).
Monitor proper use of tools and machinery.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role on construction projects with strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
Valid CSCS Card (essential)
Valid SMSTS/SSSTS (essential)
Reliable, proactive, and able to keep a team productive

What we offer

Salary/package: Dependant on experience - £19 - £21per hour, however set salary over hourly rate negotiable.
