Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Finance and Office Manager to oversee daily administrative and financial operations within our organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an organised individual with strong communication skills to contribute to our team’s efficiency and success. The ideal candidate will possess experience in office management, financial software, and team supervision, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate record-keeping. The position is paid and suitable for someone seeking flexible part-time hours.

Responsibilities

Manage financial records using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll processing
Oversee general office administration, ensuring all clerical tasks are completed efficiently
Supervise administrative staff and support team management activities
Handle human resources functions such as recruitment support, onboarding, and maintaining employee records
Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents, contracts, and correspondence
Provide excellent communication via phone and email to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment maintained
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing calendars
Uphold professional phone etiquette when interacting with clients and visitors

Skills

Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Proven experience in office management or administrative roles
Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Human resources knowledge or experience is desirable
Exceptional organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
