Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office and warehouse assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing administrative support, and overseeing various office functions and picking and packing boxes up to a maximun weight of 18Kgs. This position requires strong communication skills, proactiveness, and a good understanding of quality management system ISO9001.

£13p/h is the starting wage but ultimately the hourly rate will be based on experience.

Duties

Manage daily daily tasks efficiently.
Maintain accurate records and files, including clerical duties such as data entry and document management.
Processing purchase orders using Quickbooks
Dealing with dispatches to our customers worldwide
Inbound enquiries
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling calls and inquiries from clients
Prepare agendas, and take minutes as required to support management activities.

Experience

Proven experience in an administrative role is essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective interaction within the team and with external parties.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
Familiar with quality management system ISO9001
This role involves regular packing duties and manual handling, including lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 18kg."
