Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service in a new and exciting bar opening in Blandford Forum, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and work in a dynamic setting, perfect for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry.

Duties

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
Experience in serving or working behind a bar is beneficial
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities are essential for handling busy periods effectively
Basic maths skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately
A friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanour are vital for success in this role
