The Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join our HR team in a newly focused Talent Acquisition role, supporting recruitment across the business and helping us attract exceptional talent.
You'll partner closely with hiring managers, act as a trusted recruitment advisor, and take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process. You'll have the opportunity to shape our recruitment approach, enhance the candidate experience, build talent pipelines, and contribute to wider people initiatives that support our continued growth.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working at pace, loves sourcing and engaging talent, and wants to play a key role in helping a growing business achieve its ambitions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, workforce plans and future talent requirements.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates across a variety of roles and functions.
- Proactively identify and engage talent through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals and direct sourcing techniques.
- Conduct candidate screening and initial interviews to assess suitability and cultural alignment.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns and interview processes, ensuring a professional and engaging experience for all candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future business growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing recruitment guidance, market insights and best-practice support.
- Support employer branding initiatives that enhance ICE's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Monitor recruitment trends, market conditions and competitor activity to inform attraction strategies.
- Analyse recruitment metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, systems and the overall candidate experience.
- Work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to support onboarding and induction activities.
- Help create a positive new starter experience by supporting onboarding programmes, communications and processes.
- Review recruitment outcomes, including retention and probation success rates, to continually improve hiring quality and effectiveness.
- Contribute to wider HR and people projects that support employee engagement, growth and organisational success.
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong recruitment expertise with a proactive, relationship-focused approach.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an internal recruitment, talent acquisition or in-house recruitment role.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple vacancies and business functions.
- Strong sourcing and candidate attraction skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for delivering results.
- Good knowledge of recruitment best practice, employment legislation and candidate management.
- A genuine commitment to providing an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
