Job Opportunity
We are seeking to recruit a skilled Fabricator-Welder to join our well-established and growing team.
Based within a busy production line environment, this is a hands-on role responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of heavy-duty construction equipment used in major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK.
The role requires working to technical specifications and engineering drawings to produce high-quality, accurate components. You will work across the full process, from material preparation through to final finishing and inspection, ensuring all work meets strict quality and production standards.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop environment, where no two days are the same and attention to detail is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication instructions
- Measure, cut, shape, and prepare metal components for production
- Assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, and tack welding techniques
- Carry out MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding to required standards
- Finish, grind, and inspect completed components for quality and accuracy
- Work as part of a production line team to meet build schedules
Hours of Work
- Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:30

The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in fabrication and welding within a workshop or production environment.
You will be confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and working accurately to measurements and tolerances. A strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship are essential, along with a practical, hands-on approach to engineering work.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a production team, contributing to a structured and fast-paced manufacturing environment where consistency and quality are key.
Previous experience in a similar engineering, fabrication, or production-based role will be highly beneficial.
Desirable
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in Welding/Fabrication
- Experience in heavy engineering or manufacturing
- Understanding of quality control and inspection processes
