Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Court Team Members to join our vibrant team. This role involves both kitchen and till duties within a bustling food court environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent time management skills, and a friendly approach to customer interaction. Previous restaurant or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and sales within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of food items in accordance with health and safety standards
Operate tills efficiently, handling cash and card transactions accurately
Provide friendly and attentive service to customers at the till and within the food court
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as required
Ensure all food preparation areas are kept hygienic and compliant with safety standards

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required

Pay: £12.21-£14.78 per hour
