Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver/Mate to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, and general electrical tasks is essential. This position is paid and suitable for those looking to advance their career in the electrical trade. We Work In and around London and carry out a diverse variety of works in the commercial industry.
Responsibilities
- Assisting qualified electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems on-site.
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
- Supporting the installation of wiring, conduits, and fixtures according to technical specifications.
- Conducting basic troubleshooting and assisting with fault finding on electrical circuits.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical components.
- Previous electrical experience or relevant training is highly desirable.
- Ability to follow technical instructions accurately and work effectively within a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and develop technical skills further.
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in the electrical industry, offering opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment.
Pay: From £140.00 per day
