Interior Designer – High-End Kitchens & Bathrooms

Basic Salary £45,000 + Commission (OTE £72,000+)
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our Design Studio in Braintree designing luxury kitchens and bathrooms for discerning, high-end clientele.
This is a customer-facing, sales-driven design role suited to an ambitious designer who thrives working with large budgets, premium products, and clients with big ideas.
You will be trusted to manage clients from first conversation through to completed sale, working with our in house project management, and installation teams to deliver exceptional results. We are an all in house complete design, supply and install solution and pride ourselves on nothing but the best possible service and results for our clients.
The Role
As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for delivering a complete, professional design experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients into the showroom and qualifying their project requirements
- Conducting in-depth design consultations for kitchens and bathrooms
- Creating high-quality CAD designs and detailed mood boards
- Carrying out home surveys and site visits where required
- Preparing and delivering polished design presentations
- Confidently presenting costs and closing high-value sales
- Managing quotations, orders, and client communication with precision
- Working to individual sales targets while maintaining a premium client experience
- Upholding showroom presentation and brand standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience designing bathrooms and kitchens (essential)
- Previous experience in a sales-led design role (desirable)
- Strong customer-facing skills with the confidence to lead consultations and close sales
- High-end design sensibility and attention to detail
- CAD proficiency (Essential)
- A driven, commercial mindset with the ambition to earn well
- Professional, polished, and reliable approach to clients
- Saturday working is non-negotiable though we are closed on Sundays.
Working Hours
- 5 days - Monday–Saturday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- One weekday off (rota basis)
- Sunday closed
Salary & Commission
- £45,000 basic salary
- Generous commission structure in place
- Realistic OTE £70,000+
