Full job description

We are looking for a part time Receptionist/Clinic Assistant to join our small and friendly, professional team in our Braintree Chiropractic and Back Pain Clinic. The role is 12-17 hours a week to include Wednesday and Thursday evenings 14:30-20:30 and 1/2 Saturday mornings 08:30-13:30 on a rota basis. The role covers some set times and days but flexibility is needed to cover holidays and sickness.

The main role of the Receptionist/Clinic Assistant is to greet our private patients and to ensure they have an excellent experience whilst visiting our clinic and supporting the Practitioners in their role. This will include dealing with patient queries, making appointments, responding to enquiries by telephone, email or social media, taking payments, general and specific administration, as well as general housekeeping and cleaning as required.

For this role candidates need the ability to quickly understand the business’s services, be capable of learning new IT systems, have great patient rapport and be able to multi-task.

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable learning and using IT systems, 2 computer monitors, possess good interpersonal skills and have an eye for detail. Previous customer experience is required.
