About Stellison

Stellison are a family run business with over 50 years’ experience specialising in Domestic appliances, We currently have 9 branches covering Essex, Suffolk and Kent.

The Role

We are currently looking for a Delivery Assistant/Warehouse operative to work at our busy distribution centre in Benfleet.

The Candidate

Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy appliances
Must be able to comply with the companies Health and Safety policy & to be fully aware of the responsibilities as outlined in the policy.

Duties

Duties include loading and off-loading White & Brown goods from and onto vehicles
The delivery of new appliances into customer’s properties, whilst taking the highest level of due care and attention.
Go that extra mile to look after our clientele
To ensure all items are processed using the companies’ electronic system.
Be confident to install appliances (White Goods). Full Training will be given.
Relocate and Pick stock for the following day
To carry out any other task deemed necessary and reasonable by the company

Key Skills

Manual dexterity
Hand-Eye coordination
Numerate and Literate
Ability to use computer
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to accept responsibility
Good Communication Skills
To be able to work as part of a team
Reach Truck experience would be beneficial but not required

Benefits

40 hour working week, with the option available for overtime
5 Day Rota over 7 Days ( Saturdays will be required)
We offer a bonus scheme which can further increase potential earnings dependant upon your skill set
In house training available
Uniform will be supplied

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £26,436.80 per year
