**Dental Receptionist** **Overview:** Join our team at Park Street Dental, a progressive and modern dental practice in Bridgend, South Wales. We are a mixed NHS and private practice dedicated to providing quality care to all patients, including those who may be anxious or phobic about dental visits. **Responsibilities:** - Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures - Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's calendar efficiently - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries in a professional manner - Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality - Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow - Handle billing and insurance claims processing - Keep the reception area organised and welcoming for patients **Experience:** - Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor - Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite - Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
