We're looking for a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or above) to join our friendly team. What you'll be doing
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a key role in providing outstanding care and education, helping every child feel safe, confident and excited to learn. You'll:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's individual interests and stages of development.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress, using your knowledge of the EYFS to plan meaningful next steps.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers, working in partnership to support each child's development.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing, independence and confidence through responsive, child-centred practice.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care, learning and professionalism throughout the nursery.
- Ensure the nursery environment remains safe, clean, stimulating and fully compliant with safeguarding, health and safety requirements.
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to continuous improvement, helping create exceptional experiences for children and families every day.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A DfE-approved Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding.
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding early years education and care.
