· Be willing to develop yourself and undertake a Level 3 QCF qualification in Residential Childcare for Level 1 or if applying for level 2 or 3 have already gained the Level 3 QCF qualification. For Level 3 you should be willing to undertake ILM Level 3 to achieve the higher pay on completion.
· Produce reports and maintain accurate records and have basic IT skills
· A driving licence is desirable but is negotiable.

About the Role
As a Level 1 (Unqualified) Children’s Residential Care Practitioner no prior professional care experience is required for this position, as we offer comprehensive training, qualities we seek include:

At this level you will be expected to enrol on the QCF level 3
As a Level 2 (Qualified) Children’s Residential Care Practitioner your responsibilities will include:
· Building and maintaining relationships
· Boundary setting
· Shift Leading
· Developing ideas and direct work with children
· Mentoring new staff and leading practice areas
· Managing household tasks and preparing young people for independent living.
As a Level 3 (Qualified) Children’s Residential Care Practitioner your responsibilities will include:
· Building and maintaining relationships.
· Shift Leading and Supervision of the team
· Developing ideas and direct work with children
· Mentoring new staff and leading practice areas
· Managing household tasks and preparing young people for independent living.
· Attending professional meetings.
Salary:
Level 1- Care Practitioner- £28,000
Level 2- Care Practitioner £29,000
Level 3- Senior Care Practitioner - £32,000 – £34,000
Plus, a sleeping-in payment of £60.00 for all levels which equates to an additional £480 - £600 per month and mileage paid at 45p per mile.
All of the roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS

Full package of training provided.
Shift Pattern: Full time- 36 hrs /Part time 28hrs, permanent, you will have a good work/life balance with a rota split between different shifts, some will include sleeping at the home. You will have a set pattern on a 4-week rolling rota so you will know well in advance what you are expected to work to ensure this balance is met.

Located near Gainsborough, providing care for children aged 9yrs to 18 years.
