We are looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operation of our car park facilities.

This role is essential in ensuring a safe, and fully functional environment for customers and staff.

You will be responsible for routine inspections, identifying faults, and carrying out basic maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily checks across car park areas, including entry/exit barriers, payment machines, lighting, signage, and safety systems
Identify, report, and where possible resolve faults or maintenance issues promptly
Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
Ensure the car park is clean, tidy, and free from hazards
Monitor equipment performance and escalate more complex issues to the relevant teams or contractors
Maintain accurate records of inspections, faults, and completed work
Support health and safety compliance by reporting risks and ensuring standards are met

Fixed term: 12 months

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

These would be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your manager in advance of joining. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
