Fire Protection Services Ltd is a leading fire sprinkler specialist operating across residential and commercial construction projects.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Scheduling Coordinator to join our busy and fast-paced team.
The Role
This is a critical coordination role responsible for scheduling our sprinkler installation teams to meet tight and constantly changing construction programme requirements.
Construction programmes move quickly, and priorities can change daily. We need someone who can stay organised, think clearly under pressure, and make confident decisions to ensure our installation teams are deployed efficiently and customer expectations are met.
This is not a routine administration role. It is a busy, dynamic, and demanding position requiring someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is comfortable working under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling sprinkler installers across multiple live construction projects
- Coordinating labour and resources against changing site programmes
- Managing and adjusting schedules in response to programme changes and site requirements
- Liaising with site managers, customers and internal departments
- Maintaining clear communication with installers and operational staff
- Managing diary changes, attendance planning and reactive scheduling issues
- Monitoring installation progress and updating schedules accordingly
- Delivering a high level of customer service and communication throughout
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a robust, decisive and highly organised individual with a proven background in demanding scheduling or coordination environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong background in scheduling, planning or coordination roles within construction, engineering, logistics or similarly fast-paced industries
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident decision-maker with good problem-solving ability
- A genuine people person able to build strong working relationships
- Competent with IT systems and scheduling/planning software
- Professional, focused and resilient approach
Desirable
- Experience within construction, M&E, fire protection or field service environments
- Previous experience coordinating mobile labour or site-based teams
