Full job description

Painter and Decorator – 2 Month Project – Ilford

Stanley Painting Contractors are looking for a skilled and reliable painter and decorator for an upcoming commercial project in Ilford.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparation, finishing and maintaining a clean, professional standard on site.

This is expected to be around a 2-month project, with the potential for ongoing work afterwards for the right person.

The right person should be able to:

Carry out preparation and finishing works to a high standard
Work confidently both independently and as part of a team
Maintain a tidy and professional working area
Conduct themselves properly in a commercial environment
Be reliable, punctual and consistent week in, week out
Follow site instructions and communicate clearly

Essential requirements:

Own tools and transport
CIS registered
Good standard of preparation and finish
Able to provide examples of previous work or relevant experience
Comfortable working on commercial projects

Desirable but not essential:

CSCS card
Spray experience
Wallpapering or specialist finish experience
Intumescent coating experience
IPAF, PASMA or other relevant training
DBS check for future school projects
