About this Role

Job Title: Senior Cover Supervisor

Employment Status: Permanent

Working Hours: Term time plus 5 days, 37 hours per week

Actual Salary: Grade 5 - £25,338 pro rata, per annum

About the role:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and flexible team player for this role of Senior Cover Supervisor who will independently lead planned learning with individuals, groups and classes of pupils in a teachers absence. The chosen candidate will also have to manage, organise and prepare resources for planned learning.

We are looking for someone who:

Is enthusiastic and inspiring with excellent classroom management skills

Has relevant experience of working with and supporting primary aged pupils

Who can promote positive values and attitudes within the classroom

Understands their role in safeguarding and protecting children

All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
