Overview

Robinson and Lawlor is a nationwide contractor operating across the renewable sector. We specialise in utility scale ground mount solar farms, as well as battery storage and roof top solar.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit Qualified Electricians to join our expanding team.

Our Services

Established in 1957 and based in the North West of England Robinson and Lawlor Ltd has grown predominantly as Industrial Electrical Engineers. Over the last 18 years Robinson and Lawlor have expanded into the renewable sector primarily Solar PV, Anaerobic Digestion, EV Charging Ports, and Battery Energy Storage Systems within the UK. We now have successful long-term relationships with some of the UK’s largest EPC's. Robinson and Lawlor offer civils, mechanical and electrical installations.

The Role

As a Qualified Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations on renewable projects nationwide.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality installations in line with current regulations, project specifications, and company standards.

Projects will vary from small reactive O and M works through to utility scale installations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installations in accordance with BS 7671 and client specifications
Install containment systems and cabling
Undertake electrical maintenance and fault-finding
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical schematics
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company procedures

Knowledge & Requirements

Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
AM2 Qualification
Valid ECS Gold Card
Strong understanding of electrical systems and safe working practices
Full UK Driving Licence
Willingness to work nationwide

Base Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum

Schedule:

Monday – Friday (10-hour day, inclusive of travel and breaks)
Saturday – Sunday (voluntary overtime)

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
