As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Marketing & Communications Assistant to help strengthen engagement, enhance our brand presence and support membership acquisition and retention.
This role would suit a recent graduate, or person with transferable skills who is willing to learn more about Marketing & Communications, and who has a genuine enthusiasm for the automotive world.
The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll assist in delivering engaging communications across multiple channels, helping to connect members with the Club, its events, partners and wider Porsche community.
You will assist in creating compelling content, managing social media activity, supporting marketing campaigns and contributing to the successful promotion of Club activities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Content and Campaign Delivery
- Assist with planning, creating and publishing engaging content across email, website, social media and print channels.
- Develop member-focused stories, event promotions, partner communications and membership-related content.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns promoting events, membership benefits, sponsorship initiatives and commercial partnerships.
- Maintain a content calendar aligned with Club events, partner activations, motorsport activity and key seasonal campaigns.
Social Media and Community Engagement
- Assist with day-to-day social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and YouTube.
- Monitor and respond to member comments, messages and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in creating social content from Club events, member stories and behind-the-scenes activities.
- Create and maintain a tidy media and content database.
- Monitor channel performance and recommend improvements based on engagement and audience insights.
Email Marketing and CRM
- Assist with content for email campaigns, newsletters and member communications.
Events, Partnerships and Brand Activation
- Support the marketing and promotion of national and regional events, track days, partner showcases and motorsport activities.
- Coordinate marketing assets with sponsors and commercial partners.
- Attend selected events to capture content, create live social coverage and gather member stories. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
- Support delivery of co-branded marketing initiatives that enhance member value and partner engagement.
- Source and coordinate event kit, ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to.
Website and Publications
- Update website content, news articles, event listings and offers, ensuring that content is accurate and engaging.
- Assist on occasion with magazine content.
- Maintain consistent brand standards and tone of voice across all communications.
Reporting and Insights
- Monitor key marketing performance metrics and produce regular reporting and campaign summaries.
- Use data and audience insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
About You
Essential
- Degree (or equivalent qualification or transferable skills) in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Experience creating content for social media.
- Photography and videography skills.
- Experience using Canva/Adobe/Affinity to create marketing assets.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in using data to improve performance.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues, volunteers, partners and suppliers.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the automotive sector and enthusiast communities.
- Willingness to travel and attend occasional evening and weekend events.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Porsche, its heritage, model range and motorsport activities.
- Understanding of SEO, content management systems and email marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of GDPR and member communication best practice.
