Full job description

We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity, for an experienced nurse to join our Specialist Palliative Care Team (SPCT), currently consisting of Hospital and Community Palliative Care Nurse Specialists, Hospice at Home Nurses, Consultants in Palliative Medicine, Health Care Support Workers and Admin and Clerical Team.

The SPCT provides specialist support, care and advice to patients and their families living with life limiting illness, in Anglesey and Gwynedd, across primary and secondary care.

The post holder will contribute to the delivery of a high quality, accessible palliative care service, providing specialist support, care and advice to patients and their families living with life limiting disease. The post holder will be expected to work week days and regular weekends, during the hours of 9 - 5pm.

If you have the relevant experience and qualifications, alongside a strong desire to work within specialist palliative care, then we would love to hear from you.

Informal enquiries and visits are strongly encouraged.

To work within the Specialist Palliative Care Team, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

To contribute to the delivery of a high quality, accessible palliative care service, providing specialist support, care and advice to patients and their families living with life limiting disease.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
