Team Leader

The Annex & The Malthouse – Tavistock

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to join The Annex, Malthouse & Yard Bar in the heart of Tavistock.

You'll play a key part in supporting our management team, leading shifts, inspiring colleagues and helping deliver outstanding guest experiences across two thriving venues with loyal customers, ambitious owners and a passionate team.

If you're a natural leader who enjoys developing people, maintaining high standards and creating memorable experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be responsible for:

Leading shifts and supporting the team to deliver exceptional service.
Motivating and inspiring colleagues to perform at their best.
Delivering outstanding guest experiences every day.
Supporting the management team with day-to-day operations.
Assisting with training and developing new and existing team members.
Helping manage stock, cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
Supporting events, private hire and smooth service delivery.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and legal compliance.

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous supervisory or Team Leader experience in hospitality (or is ready to step up into their first leadership role).
Leads by example and thrives in a busy environment.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Enjoys developing others and creating a positive team culture.
Is proactive, reliable and solutions-focused.
Is passionate about great food, drinks and genuine hospitality.
