At Bridgwater College Academy, we are seeking an inspiring and creative Art & Photography Teacher to join our Art & Design department.
This role will involve teaching Art and Photography across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering creativity, visual literacy, and self-expression in all students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the arts and committed to helping students develop their artistic skills, confidence, and critical awareness. You will encourage experimentation with a range of media and techniques, while supporting students to explore their own creative identity.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who has:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- The ability to teach Art and Photography across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to deliver engaging, high-quality creative lessons
- The passion, creativity, and subject knowledge to inspire students
- A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to contribute to a supportive and high-performing department
- A belief that every student can succeed, and that great teaching makes it possible
We welcome applications from qualified teachers who have successfully completed their statutory induction period. Unfortunately, we are not currently able to support ECT induction for this post.
