In conjunction with Guidance & Wellbeing Manager, the post-holder will deliver and coordinate a range of wellbeing interventions and activities to support existing, new and returning students. This will include the extended College community in Glasgow and elsewhere, as part of a quality, efficient and effective service.

Support the development of a positive wellbeing culture and deliver campaigns and initiatives that enhance students’ physical and mental health awareness.
- Act as a first point of contact for wellbeing support, providing advice, managing referrals, and delivering workshops and activities to build students’ resilience and self-management skills.
- Work closely with Student Support colleagues, academic staff, and external partners to identify and support students at risk, ensuring coordinated and effective interventions.
- Plan, deliver, and promote wellbeing services and represent the service at college and external events.
- Contribute to the development of wellbeing platforms, maintain knowledge of emerging trends, and support continuous improvement of policies and practices.
- Maintain accurate records, support reporting and evaluation, manage communications, and provide general administrative support to the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies to enhance the support available to students.
Qualifications:

Educated to HNC/SCQF level 7 or equivalent
Knowledge:
Demonstrable knowledge of
- Knowledge of the Further Education and/or Higher Education sector.
- Demonstrate knowledge of wellbeing and support
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of pastoral care and wellbeing
- Good level of IT Literacy including a working knowledge of MS Word, Teams, Access, and Excel
- Ability to work online and face to face
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a Team
- Ability to remain calm in demanding situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident and self-motivated
- Potential flexibility to cover evening events as required
Experience:
- Previous experience of working in a Mental Health/Wellbeing service
- Previous experience of working within a Further or Higher Education environment
- Previous experience of working within a customer care and client central environment
- Previous experience of working in an advocacy role
